The modern brass quintet, such as the Chicago Gargoyle Brass Quintet, is a standard chamber ensemble of brass instruments comprised of two trumpets, one French horn, one trombone and one tuba, functioning similarly to a string quartet or woodwind quintet. We maintain a broad repertoire of original and transcribed compositions in a wide range of musical colors and styles.
